It came out great and they cecking it. This weekend someone spilled a double sterno size pan of olive oil and roasted pork over a large portion of the deck. Ther tripped and basiclly threw this over a large area. The area was immediatly hosed off, but the removs decking is so pourous the stain was allready set. Can composite decking be power-washed? This is the product that is sold at Home Depot, so it has the fake wood grain texture on the finished side. Does anyone know of a product that might work to clean this mess?

I just left Homey's, They also said simple green and a yo powerwashing. A couple weeks ago I used Tide with bleach powdered laundry detergent in hot water with a long handle scrub brush and my Trex decking came out great.

If you decide to use a power washer, keep it on the lowest setting and at least 8 inches from the surface of the deck. This will keep the decking from becoming damaged by the power washer.
